The latest release on our music catalogue continues a journey we embarked on with a 3 track debut release from Johannesburg based multimedia artist and music producer, HakGwai, titled Eye of The Sun.

Part 2 of the series offers 3 added productions to the body of work, with a consistency which seamlessly draws us back to familiar sonic terrains created in the first part of the series. Dreamlike compositions, ambient textures and broken riffs set the project's tone for exploring the artists ideas.

The additional work to the original arrangements and sounds, as well as collaborations with vocals (Marigold Venum) and production (Eye-on Feather and Micr.Pluto) gives HakGwai's second drop a refreshing quality.

Overall, The project is a laid back listen, the deconstructed arrangements, unconventional melodies and granular sound design offers something more complex for the "left-field" listener.

The artist's aim is to express ideas, deconstruct norms and curate a listening experience through the means of music.
